Ohio law requires the county auditor to update taxable real estate values to reflect current sales trends three years after a reappraisal. Clermont County’s reappraisal set 2008 values, taxable and payable in 2009. This triennial update sets 2011 values, taxable and payable in 2012.
The 2011 Triennial Property Value letter is being mailed in August to each property owner. This letter includes information about the update and the way owners may contact our office regarding their property values. You may view the content of this letter and additional general information by clicking here for Frequently Asked Questions. These triennial update values are now available on our web site. To access the 2011 Tentative Values, use Property Search to locate your parcel number by owner name, location address or parcel number. Select the parcel from the returned list and it will display detail for your property. The 2011 information is noted on the available tabs.
As a special note, 2011 values are tentative until the State of Ohio gives final approval in the fall. Tax bill amounts cannot be determined at this time since the final tax rates will not be available until December.
