Types of Levies on the Ballot:
- Renewal Levies Continue existing levies at their current (unchanged) millage rate. These do not increase taxes.
- Renewal w/Increase A specific ballot measure where a local government or school district asks voters to both continue an existing tax and add a new amount to it simultaneously. The increase portion of this levy will increase taxes
- New Levies Create a new tax that did not previously exist. If approved, a new levy will increase property taxes to fund a specific service, project, or organization.
✔ Reminders:
- Not all voters in Clermont County will see the same levies on their ballot. Levies depend on the school district, township, municipality, or service district where you live.
