Each year the County Auditor’s office issues an annual comprehensive financial report. This report represents and reflects upon the County’s financial performance over the past fiscal year. The report presents the County’s goals to develop sound fiscal policies, maintain reserves and fiscal integrity, and protect the assets of the citizens of Clermont County.
Clermont County continues to receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting issued by the Government Finance Officers Association. The most recent award was for the annual comprehensive financial report for the year ended December 31, 2023. This was the thirty fourth consecutive year that the County has received this prestigious award. We believe that our current annual comprehensive financial report continues to meet the Certificate of Achievement Program’s requirements and has been submitted to the award program for consideration.
The State of Ohio requires an annual audit by either the Auditor of the State or by an independent public accounting firm. Julian & Grube, Inc. has completed an audit of the financial statements and their opinion is included in the financial section of the report.
