Clermont County Auditor Announces 2026 Tentative Property Values are Available
BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County Auditor Linda L. Fraley announced today that 2026 tentative property values are now available for public review as part of the county’s required six-year reappraisal.
Ohio law requires counties to update property values every six years to reflect current market conditions and ensure similar properties are valued fairly and equitably. The 2026 reappraisal incorporates verified sales, new construction, property characteristics, and other market data.
Property owners are encouraged to review their tentative value and property information by visiting www.ClermontAuditor.org. The Auditor’s website also features an interactive Open Data portal with comparative values, neighborhood sales, market trends, interactive maps and resources explaining the reappraisal process.
“It is our responsibility to ensure every property is valued fairly, accurately, and consistently,” said Auditor Linda L. Fraley. “The 2026 reappraisal represents the most comprehensive and transparent valuation process Clermont County has ever undertaken. By combining advanced appraisal technology, extensive market analysis, enhanced data resources, and our Open Data portal, we are providing property owners with greater access to information and a better understanding of how values are determined.”
The Auditor’s Office reminds taxpayers that changes in property value are not the same as property taxes. While the Auditor determines property values, tax bills are also affected by voter-approved levies, state law, and the budgets of local taxing authorities.
